Garlic and Ginger Tuna Steak

This is what happens on Good Friday when you decided that you don't actually want to go to the Fish & Chip shop but do want to observe the Christian Tradition.

Serves 1

1 tuna steak
1 little ziplock bag
1 tsp lazy ginger, finely chopped
1 tsp lazy garlic, finely chopped
splosh of soy sauce

Put all the ingredients in the ziplock bag. Close it and coat the tuna in the marinade.

Put to one side while you cook whatever you are eating with it. I souped up a packet savoury rice with Chinese 5 spice, jarred chilli slices, 2 chopped tomatoes and a tbsp chopped coriander. A stir fry or egg noodles would also work well.

Pan fry the tuna until it's at your preferred doneness. (I like it slightly pink in the middle)

Would also be perfect for a bbq.
