2 carrots, diced
100g lean bacon, chopped
2 sticks celery, roughly diced
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tin chopped tomatoes
1 ham stock cube (or chicken)
1.5pt water
Couple handfuls pasta shapes
1 tin cannellini beans
1 handful white cabbage, shredded

Hot sauce (eg Tabasco, Franks etc)
1. In a large pan fry off bacon, carrots, celery, onion and garlic for about 8 mins.
2. Add the rest of the ingredients (except the cabbage), stir well and bring to boil. After 5 mins add the shredded cabbage cook for further 5 mins. Add hot sauce to taste.
Serve.
