Carrot Cake Porridge

28g Oatbran/porridge oats
1 cups of water
2 carrots grated
1 tbsp mincemeat
¼ teaspoon of dried ginger powder
¼ teaspoon of cinnamon powder
Good scrape of a nutmeg clove

Make up porridge as usual, with water. In the meantime in a saucepan, in 100ml water add the carrots, mincemeat, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg.

Cook through until softened.

Spoon on top of the porridge.
