BBQ Pork Belly Slices

BBQ seasoning/rub
pork belly slices

Rub the seasoning into the belly slices, put the slices into a oven proof dish cover with foil and place in a slow cooker on low for 3-4 hours.
BBQ sauce

1 onion, finely chopped
8fl oz passata
4 tbsp balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp dark brown sugar
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp of mustard powder
1/2 tsp mild chilli powder

fry onion and chilli powder for 5 minutes until softened. Add the other ingredients and simmer for 10 mins.

Heat up griddle pan and brush oil onto the pork slices then pop onto the grill pan.

Serve immediately with bbq sauce.

Good with corn on the cob
